OUTREACH TEAM
The Miriam Dance Travel Performance Team is a selected group of students who have a passion for dance and performing. Students will learn routines and will have the opportunity to perform in the community and events throughout the year.
HOW CAN I BE INVOLVED?
Dancers must be enrolled in at least one class and must be committed the entire year in order to be selected for the performance team. Dancers (age 6 and up) are invited to be on the performance team, however if a parent feels the child is ready for this commitment, an audition may take place. Dancers must be able to pick up on choreography quickly and their skill for basic foundation of dance must be achieved first. While it is fun and exciting to be chosen for such a great opportunity please know that it is hard work and requires commitment and dedication.

HOW MANY PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES WILL I GET?
The travel team may be called at any time during the year to perform; therefore must be available for extra practices when called. We do try to keep a minimum of two outside performances per year. This gives dancers more stage time and the chance to network with others.

ARE THERE COSTS INVOLVED TO BE ON THE TEAM?
Dancers may be asked to purchase an additional costume; however we do try to use what we have to save cost. There are no extra performance fees.
