MDA Practice Dress Code

Suggested Places to Purchase: Carolina Dancewear, Amazon, any online dance store

Ballet, Jazz, Praise Dance, Acro 

  • Ages 3-6: Ballet Pink leotard

  • Ages 7-9: Grape purple leotard

  • Ages 10 and up: Black leotard 

  • Students may wear legwarmers, cover ups, etc. 

  • Flesh toned footless or convertible tights 

  • Flesh toned ballet shoes with no ties (ballet only)

  • Flesh toned jazz shoes with no ties (jazz only) 

  • Any black bottoms (biker shorts, cheer style shorts, black dance skirt) 

  • Leotards must be short sleeved as they are worn in showcases

  • Hair must be secured off the face in a ponytail, bun or donut

Tap, Hip-Hop, Acro, Cheer

  • Black Tap Shoes

  • Hip Hop: Black high top sneakers with no other colors and black soles

  • Cheer Shoes off Amazon (we provide style number)

  • Cheer: Pom Poms
