Kay Neal

Kay Neal II has a bachelor's degree in Forensic Biology and a minor in Spanish. This educational foundation showcases her intellectual abilities and diverse interests beyond the realm of dance.

 

However, despite her academic achievements in the sciences, Kay feels that dance is her true calling. This passion for dance has been with her since the very young age of  2 years old. She has received extensive training in various dance styles through her experience at multiple dance companies including UNCSA School of the Arts, Wake Forest Ballet, On Stage School of Dance, and Salimah Dance Company. The dance styles she has been trained in include Improvisation, Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, Contemporary, Creative Movement, and African-style dancing. In terms of her performance experience, Kay has been actively involved in the dance community. She has performed with the UNCG School of Dance, alongside choreographer Malik Washington. Additionally, she has performed at the National Black Theater Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  More recently, she has performed with the E. Gwynn Dance Company at North Carolina A&T State University.

 

Beyond her impressive dance training and performance experience, Kay is also dedicated to serving God by helping her community. She is described as a "shining light" who loves helping others. Her community involvement and contributions highlight her passion for making a positive impact wherever she goes.
