TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This page should be read in its entirety prior to submitting an application. If you agree with the details, you may proceed with the registration process.

By enrolling in the 2020 Center Stage Performing Arts Showcase you agree to adhere to the following conditions:

  • All teams should prepare one selection, unless you talk to the event organizer first.

  • Miriam's Dance Academy is not responsible for travel or food expenses.

  • You acknowledge that you are able to perform on the date and time of the showcase.  

  • Dress rehearsal for the showcase is Friday, April 3, 2020 at 6:30pm.

  • Teams should adhere to the performance time allowed per group number. Performances over the maximum time allowed will be asked to shorten their length of time. 

  • Entry fees are due within fourteen days only after you have received an acceptance letter into the showcase.

  • The entry fee is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the event organizer.

  • The event staff has the right to decline any registrations that are not applicable to our vision.

  • You acknowledge that IF you are on the waiting list and and are added in, your entry fee is due within ten days of the acceptance letter at that point.

 

TEAM REPRESENTATIVE

Each team will assign one team representative and one alternate to be the liaison between our staff and your team. The team representative should be a person who can communicate and relay information to your team from our staff throughout the year. The team representative can be the director of your team, owner, parent, etc., but must be a dependable, reliable source who communicates timely.  

 

TEAM ACCEPTANCE ​​

Your team will be emailed an acceptance or non acceptance letter within 14 days of submitting your registration form. You are considered accepted only AFTER you have received confirmation from our staff and your team representative has responded that you accept the invitation to perform. If we do not hear from your team representative, we will assume that you have declined our invitation to perform.  

 

CANCELLATIONS

Teams who cannot perform after entry fee has been paid will forfeit their entry fee.

TICKETS

You are encouraged to invite your fans and supporters. Tickets will be sold online and at the door more than 30 days prior to the show. 

 

Please remember this is a family event.  All routines should be appropriate and cannot contain any profane music, inappropriate costumes, etc. All routines deemed inappropriate by our staff will not be accepted.
